May Happenings at CWES

WOW! We can't believe it is already May. It seems like yesterday the students walked through the door for the first day of school. We are so proud of the growth we have seen in the students this year.

May is going to be a full month of fun, learning, and growing.

Preschool is learning about frogs and bugs.
Kindergarten is focusing on all things Spring.
First grade is learning how to write poetry.
Second grade is studying the life cycle of chickens, the eggs are arriving soon!
Third grade is exploring classifying animals, animal adaptations and magnets.

About Us

Thanks for visiting the Center Woods Elementary School website. We are in the process of updating our site to make it clear and informative. It is very important to us that we create a bridge between home and school through good communication. Please let me know how we can improve the way we communicate.

As a professional learning community, we must be able to address the following: First, what do we expect all students to know and be able to do; Second, how will we know if they learned it; Third, how will we respond when they didn’t learn it; and Lastly, how will we respond when they already know it?
